Handmade solid European Oak rectangular bench with double dowel shelf finished in Osmo Polyx to give a natural and durable finish. The tables are inspired by the clean simple lines of Scandinavian design and simple functionality. Each piece is handmade myself to order, they hand planed and smoothed with a cabinet scraper to give a fine finish. the bench has visible hand cut tenons with contrasting mahogany wedges used to secure the legs and dowels shelf into position.
European Oak is a very strong timber with a honeyed golden brown colour. It is known for its strength, durability and beautiful grain patterns, knots and swirls.
Benches are 30cm deep as standard but I can make them to any depth required. if you require a custom size please contact me with your requirements.
Timber - All our timber are FSC certified, we only produce pieces to order to minimise waste and excess.
