Rounded End Bench in European Oak
Custom made Solid European Oak bench is made with rounded ends, underside and turned straight legs fixed into position with contrasting wedges. The curved ends and edges give the piece a simple and organic look, the soft edges makes it a very touchable and visually interesting piece that compliment any space.
This like all our pieces is made to order and each is unique in grain and texture. It is made from prime grade solid Oak timber the is planed, jointed and smoothed to a fine finish. The legs have been turned straight and fixed with a visible wedge tenon joint to provide a secure fixing and traditional look.
The benches are 34cm wide as standard but can be narrower wider on request, the top is made from 25mm thick Oak and 32mm Oak legs which make it an extremely strong and durable piece of furniture. (Bench over 150cm are made with 32mm thick top and 35mm legs) . Each piece is finished in beewax but can also left raw, finished in varnish or something else on request.
