Solid Ash hardwood coffee table with rounded corners and a shelf constructed with hand turned Oak dowels. The pieces pictured is finished in a beeswax but can be finished in Danish Oil, Hardwax or varnish on request. With all my pieces I aim to produce simple and clean designs but visually interesting through it rounded form and the construction techniques.
The table has been made using traditional technique and tools, the boards have been planed smooth by hand and surface had been finished with a cabinet scraper to give a smooth finish. The legs and rails have secured with hand cut tenons and contrasting wedges.
The table is available in various lengths and widths, it is a standard 45cm tall but this can be change to suit your needs please contact us with your requirements.
The Ash timber is FSC certified, Ash is a very strong timber with a colour that varies from a soft yellow to lighter shades of khaki and cream. The grain has a medium course structure but a soft smooth feel, knots are uncommon.
