The simple handle allows for the stool to be easily carried from room to room, for various uses. If placed in a hall or boot room the handle can be used to support umbrellas, walking sticks etc.
Simple clean lines along with traditional construction, makes this not only decorative but also very functional. It can be used as a footstool, side table, plant stand, display stand to give a few examples. The natural grain and finish give warmth to any room in your home.
As with all the pieces we make, these stools are made using traditional hand tools, techniques and wedged tenon joints to secure the legs into position. As the timber is reclaimed each piece has a unique character in the grain, shade and texture. These features vary in each piece of timber which in turn makes each piece individual.
